I've been playing a sister ball to yours--the new Titleist NXT Tour. Is there a Pinnacle product that will give me similar performance around the green and even more distance off the tee? Also, which Pinnacle ball will perform best with driver swing speeds in the 112-115 range?

Thanks?

Is the new feel ball durable? Compare it to similar balls in the same price range. I am a bogey golfer, but I am better at the short game with wedges, etc.

I have been known to scuff a ball with my approach shots.

How will this ball handle that?

Regards,

Ryan,

Thank you for choosing to play Pinnacle golf balls. I response to your question about the Pinnacle Platinum Distance benefitting you with more distance off the tee and accuracy into the green it would be fair to say that most golfers will experience more distance off the tee with the Pinnacle Platinum Distance vs. the Platinum Feel. If you are a player that misses a lot of fairways and greens due to a slice or a hook, the Platinum Distance should fly a little straighter on both your driver and iron shots. However, if you are a player that relies a lot on greenside control, and saves shots around the greens, you would be sacrificing spin and feel due to the large core and very thin cover on the Platinum Feel.

Please send me your mailing address and I will send you a 2-ball sleeve of each to try side by side and truly determine which is the best ball for your game.

Thanks again for choosing to play Pinnacle.

I have played Pinnacle golf balls all of my life by preference. For me there is nothing like the feel of a well hit golf shot and the Pinnacle feel.!!!!!!!

I'm a junior golfer residing in Canada. A lot of other junior golfers give me a look when they see me playing with Pinnacle balls! However, I find that Pinnacle balls are simply the BEST out there; especially with the new Platinum Feel. You won't believe the look on the other junior's faces when they see me spin this bad boy back from long ways out and also, the look on their faces when I drive 15+ yards by them. I have won 2 events along with many top 3 finishes during my season. All thanks to Pinnacle!!

I played my first round with the Platinum Feel ball this weekend and was very impressed. For the past year I had played the Exception exclusively and shot the best rounds of my life, so I was not sure which of the new Platinum balls would better suite my game. I bought the Feel ball based on the post above, I found me distance was equal to a little bit shorter than the Exception, but I was amazed at the amount of spin I got off my irons. After the first two holes I was floored at the fact that my ball was sitting several feet behind my pitch marks.

Can you describe in a bit more detail what the advantages are to the Distance ball? I am a 16 handicap and I hit about 6 greens in regulation, so I am wondering if the distance ball would benefit me more with distance off the tee and accuracy into the pin.

Thanks for your advice, I love Pinnacle!

Steve:
We appreciate your fondness for orange golf balls. The fact is that there just aren’t enough Pinnacle loyalists such as yourself that prefer orange golf balls over white.

Thanks for your support of Pinnacle!

I also have been playing the Exception for a long time and am excited to play my first round with the Platinum Feel ball. Could you talk a little more about the Platinum distance ball.

During testing did you find out how much longer it is than the Feel and how much harder around the greens? I am wondering how different the balls are and what are some key things to consider when deciding between purchasing either ball.

Thank you very much!

Rick:

That's a great question. If you've been playing the Pinnacle Exception golf ball, the new Pinnacle Platinum Feel golf ball would be the most similar. Most golfers who use to play the Pinnacle Exception and switch to the New Pinnacle Platinum Feel will experience enhanced feel and playability around the green.
